A. That link is useless unless you pay to be a subscriber. But thanks
for the detective work. If you note it was by Orr in the 50's and it is
titled NC-240D.
B. National designed a NC-240D. Internal documents, engineering
drawings, etc, were NC-240D. All that came into the Service Dept and
written correspondence were listed as NC-240D.
C. Initial ads were NC-240D as I remember from the clippings in the
archives. I have no idea if some idiot at an advertising agency or
marketing made the change.
D. I always refer to it as NC-240C, NC-240D, etc and have no intention
or reason to change now.
I should have a copy later today and will post it in the Technical files
section of my Yahoo group along with the other HQ-129X mod.
Everyone please feel free to add other interesting and applicable
documents to those files. There are also many other interesting items in
the Links section.
