I have one of the Bud filters but, in my experience, it doesn't work as well as the Drake. The Drake has a "cut off" frequency at 52 MHz and it is really sharp. The Drake can be used on the low end 6 meters but the power is cut to 100 watts. I have at least 5 of the Drake TV-1000-LP (maybe 6 but I can't easily look behind some of my equipment), 1 of the Bud, and 1 Yaesu (that one is only a few years old). I also have a Palomar East equivalent of the Bud filter (from the 1950s) and don't like it at all.

Actually I prefer the adjustable one by Bud.
