Yes, Im sure most of us are aware of that as the 8874/3CX400A7 had a 
much larger installed base in commercial, industrial, medical, and ham 
equipment. All three of the tubes I mentioned differ only in the anode 
cooler.

However even the Eimac 8874 is in the 8122 price range these days and 
the Russian version isnt far behind.
