We have had them here in NJ for some time now, for electric, gas, and
water utilities.  But I still keep a eye on the bills to make sure they
do not mess up, By law they are required to do a physical  reading twice
a year. The meter person( so PC is in it ) walks or drive down the street
and the RX and PC do the rest, so far not to many problems, but time will
tell. Just my two watts worth.
