Greg,
Shouldn't be much of a problem. Just be sure basing is wired correct
and put filaments in series. 8950 is 13V filament at 1.1A. 6LQ6 os
rated at 6.3V at 2.5A. 8950 also has a little higher plate dissapation,
33W vs 30W for 6LQ6/6JE6 8950 was designed for mobile applications, thus the
13V and primarily for the "CB" market.
