Les,

The R-390 list/crowd has been living this issue for numerous years. 
We've essentially gone to isolation transformers - OR - using the 
computer power supply sockets AND circuitry for ways of getting by this 
issue.

Running a "separate" circuit that is NOT GFCI protected may VERY well 
kill your insurance coverage in the event of a fire!
