Bill,

Does that have any relation to the GE YRS-1 Sideband Selector?  I have 
two of these with documentation.

The YRS-1 involves a 6SJ7 BFO, controlled by a 6SJ7 reactance tube, 
feeding two 6H6 detectors that each feed two 6SL7 audio phase shifters.  
It will select either sideband for SSB, or do phase-locked AM.
