Remember that 375 watts of carrier modulated 100% AM generally puts out 1500 watts peak which is the maximum now allowed for United States amateur radio operators.  Now you can run 1500 watts of carrier if running FM or PM on any frequency on which phone operation is allowed except for the 5 channel 60 meter band.  The only provision is that the modulation index cannot exceed 1 below 29.0 MHz.
