The posts got me thinking, (dangerous), looked in back room. Have a
B&W Model 426, 75 OHM Low Pass Filter. Serial number is not there,
doesn't appear to be rubbed off. Is Blue hammertone finish and has
stamped on bottom "Patent Applied For". On one end there is a metal
stamp "7" below coax connector.
Just wonder, how old -it- might be?

Subject: [Boatanchors] B&W 425 LPF?
Greetings,
Just going through a box o' stuff from the estate of a friend who passed
away a while ago and came across an older B&W 435 52 Ohm LPF. This one has
S/N 101 stamped on the lable and it got me to wunderin'. Anyone have an
older one? Or <insert fantasy here> they started at s/n 101 and I have the
first one and will make millions selling it... <back to reality> It looks
beefy inside will it handle the output power from my Johnson Viking Valiant
without dammage?
