Hi Guys (and Bill!),
That's the very reason I sold my HQ-170A after a VERY brief "honeymoon"...
I'd lusted for ANYTHING bearing the handsome looks of a Hammarlund ever
since I first got interested in SW back in the mid-60's...when I finally
fulfilled my dream a coupla years back with the acquisition of an HQ-170A, I
was creastfallen.
There simply was NO "warm-up" period of time with that thing. Period. It was
ALWAYS "...warming up" --- and drifting.
