George and others -
I asked for clarification before saying anything more because there are
always two sides to any story. However, I did purchase a radio from
Luis last year, and it was literally in mint condition, better than
described, and he included a speaker and other items that weren't expected.
He did say that he doesn't have internet at home, which probably
accounts for some delays in our communication, but I am very satisfied
with the transaction. I was aware that the equipment would be coming
from Mexico, and paid a total of $100 in addition to the price of the
radio for packing and shipping, which was via FedEx overnight service
and I received the radio the day after it was shipped, including customs
clearance.
I felt I should mention this, because my experience was quite different
than yours unfortunately seems to have been.
