[Boatanchors] recapping with polyprop caps

Hello all,

I am recapping some of the HV capacitors in a heathkit SB-610. The
originals were 1000V, 1200V and 1600V and values such as .25uF, .1uF
etc. It was suggested to me that these be replaced with metallized
polypropylene film caps to get similar values and sizes.

The originals were electrolytic and the polarity was clearly marked.
These new polyprop caps do not seem to indicate a polarity. Is this
correct? I am always concerned about HV caps to make sure they are
installed correctly (if there is an incorrect way to install them).

Are these caps non-polarized? Can these caps be put in any orientation?

Thanks
Eugene
