I had a Dodge Dart years ago. It was a tinny piece of crap. Since then,
I've owned only VWs, one new and two used. Yes, they are expensive to
repair, but they are not built out of old soup can by the UAW.

FWIW,

Well that's not very "Green Thinking".
One should be willing to drive that "Soup Can Recycled"
vehicle and "BE DAMN HAPPY" .... Hehehe.

Actually I couldn't agree more. While I have to give
Mopar credit for some really cool engines and drive
line components their body's came up short or at least
back in the day I messed with them. Course for performance
you don't need all that extra metal .... Hi. Use to have
a t-shirt expressing Mopar vehicles. Best not mentioned here.
That said I still have several Mopars I enjoy driving along
with several other muscle cars of the period.

Now to fully confess I had a blast for a few years sporting
around a Valiant with a 426 hemi shoehorned in. I got it at
one of those law enforcement auctions. They never could catch
it so they apparently confiscated it .... Hehehe. Boy what
a suicide ride. Loved every minute of it. Got reasonable
fuel economy with your foot out of it. Hahahaha .... ya who
would have that and keep your foot out of it.
Red line and launch ....
Also bought a 427 Baldwin Motion Z at the same time.
Still have that though it needs a rebuild. Too many revs
on the red line. Our old PO was next to the Police Station
and I always loved to park it hammering at idle while
checking mail so it could rattle their large plate glass
window. These days they'd probably shoot you for that .... Hi.

Boatanchor connection .... there is a tube Buick radio in the
trunk of the Z waiting for me to rebuild it.
