Sandy, I for got the step drills!  Have a couple.

The problem with folks getting "skint" by things from Harbor Freight, is 
mostly by those that REALLY do not know tools.  They know about them and 
what they are for, BUT don't "really" understand their proper use and 
construction.  (I'm truly sorry if this offends ANYONE!)

It however does make the difference.  I used to LIVE by my tool box and 
the Machine Shop.  I rebuilt railroad engines such as the EMD 16-567-E4, 
and the Fairbanks Morse TD 38 TD 8 1/8.  These critters have a piston 
and rod weighing between 250 to 275 pounds.  That "567" is the cubic 
inch displacement PER cylinder.  The later models are 645s.

Once your living is highly dependent upon quality tools and equipment, 
you can easily spot that which doesn't fit the bill.

HFs hole saws are fine for wood.  I also use some of their router bit sets.

The DVMs have proven to be reliable and lasting.
