My post was aimed at those who don't know.

I was shocked to discover that you have to look carefully when buying at 
Sears also.  I know to only purchase serious tools that are made here. 
Point taken about knowing WHAT to purchase.

Used to have a Heath VTVM but stupidly tossed it when I got a `better' VOM.
