I'd still like to know if anyone has first-hand experience relative to the 
power ratings of these coils.

For space reasons, I'd like to use a JVL in the grid circuit of a push-pull 
pair of triodes.  It looks as if I may need as much as 70 watts of drive for 
the pair of tubes, which is very close to the 75 watt rating of the JVL.

Rather than destroy that coil, I could be safe and use a BVL, which may be, 
other that space considerations,  the most practical thing to do.
