Consider two 1000 ohm in parallel to make 500 then 1/2 watt makes 1 watt at 
500 ohms.

For the 12 ohm use 4 each 47 ohm in parallel here 1/4 watt will get you 1 
watt.

You may not need high tolerance precision.

Much of today's parts are close. Measure what you have as best you can.

You will likely be OK with some stock parts.
