[Boatanchors] NC 300 improvements

Finally have all the transmitters tweaked and peaked and ready to begin updating my receivers. Starting out with my trusty old NC-300 which my parents gave me on my 17th birthday, a few years ago.
Other than the usual recapping and alingment are they any posted circuit improvements anyone knows about. I use it mainly on 160 meters AM and would like to find a solution for those peskey birdies up and down the band.
