Thanks for the info. This is something we generally have known for
about the last ten
years....(especially from restoration of WW2 gear)... that a 20 year
old solid state
radio is difficult to get parts for. Yet 65 year old boatanchors
using "standard" parts
are not a problem.
Now as long as we can attract today's kids to BA's, we won't have the
other side of the
equation.... "parts available but no one to use them."
