[Boatanchors] voltage on the speaker???

Besides National; EH Scott, Stromberg Carlson and others used them in
shipboard entertainment radios designed in the 30's but used during WW2 and
then even into the 60's on some WW2 built ships. This included some stand
alone line amps.
In various military and government shore installations I would believe that
the National, Hallicrafters, etc, used similar to what was available to the
commercial versions of those radios.
