[Boatanchors] Viking Ranger or Hammarlund HX-50, which to use for AM?

The HX-50 works on AM by injecting carrier into the balanced modulator
(unbalancing it). It's not an AM transmitter, but it is capable
transmitting in the AM mode. The output power on AM as Al mentioned, is
low because of the linear output stage P.E.P. ratings.
