NO.  Not that easy.  The claim has been made and cannot be retreated

I realize that we should not discuss politics here.  I did not start 
this thread.  KA4JVY made a rather wide swipe.  Now it is time to reply 
with information that substantiates the claim, or an admission that it 
was "something I read somewhere" or "I heard it on talk radio".

To let it lie makes KA4JUV's statements true de-facto.

If the listowners disagree and forbid further discussion, then in all 
fairness I'd suggest they need to warn and then ban users who start 
threads that are so widely off topic, clearly derisive, and in my view 
completely bizarre that such replies are needed in the first place.
