Bob everyone understands your dedication to Peter Dahl. I
have purchased from him over the years myself and value his
quality and commitment. He is just one of the people who
produce the finest quality possible consistent with his
price. However, should you not want to wait the 3-6 months
it will take for them to furnish the object you desire,
there are other suppliers who can do an equal job.

I gave the names of two of them.

Some of us don't want to wait until the end of the line to
receive attention. I did that as a younger person, but as I
have grown older, I have decided that brand loyalty is
nothing but a premium. I don't do that anymore. It is not
a matter of how nice the people who work there is, it is a
matter of supplying , in a timely, efficient manner, the
products I desire.

Peter Dahl has accomplished this in the past, but evidently,
he cannot at present. This can have several meanings. He
is too small to give reasonable service to amateurs, he has
a short temper with people who may have received a promised
delivery date or he is not interested in providing the
service to amateurs. First of all, his markup on any
product is the same be it a plate transformer for a
Contential BC transmitter or a Valiant. So what is the
deal? He doesn't like people questioning his bread and
butter, commercial accounts. Well any size is a commercial
account. Amateurs will support his operation when
commercial accounts wither and die. Some commercial
accounts sell out, some go broke and some just close their
doors.

Will he cut the price to accommodate someone like me when
commercial accounts cease? I doubt it. Thank goodness for
competition, and I mentioned two. Purchase at your own
risk.
