If they come as an attachment, you can usually click on the symbol and have
it open in a picture viewer program that comes with the computer. If they
are part of the message, you will have to click and save to a file
someplace. Then you can go to a blank word processor document and insert the
picture and it will show up as a much smaller picture. You can then either
print it out or just delete it.
If you have a scanner, the OS for the scanner should allow you to open the
saved picture in the viewer program. I have Paperport or my scanner and it
is called The Paperport Desk top. Paperport will not customize resize the
picture but it will reduce it to a size where you can see it all in a much
smaller format.
I also have the Photoshop program with up dates in case I want to actually
resize a picture. Photoshop, however, is a very expensive program to
purchase, costing well over several hundred dollars.
