Hi All,

Thank you for the suggestions on  SX-28 S-meter housing repair.  An 
Automotive hose clamp sounds like the repair to use and if painted black and 
the screw positioned underneath will not look too bad.

I plan to insulate the terminals also; could use heatshrink or ugly globs of 
RTV. The terminals approach full B+ at times.  Perhaps right angle 
automotive ignition wire boots (the old pre-HEI kind, when cars used 
distributors) would fill the bill.  The power switch also could stand 
heatshrink on the terminals.  I   wish to eliminate shock hazards above 
chassis.
