[Boatanchors] Hallicrafters SX-28 S-meter

I had an HT-4 (1939 year of manufacture) in which all the meter cases
appeared as if someone had taken a pair of tinsnips and cut the metal the
entire circumstance. I was told by several "experts" that it was so
moisture/humidity in field operations would allow the meter to "breathe," so
the movement would not short or the glass would not fog over.

My HT-4 saw service in WWII.

OK, tell me that the metal split on its own!
