Bob,

Very usable.  I won one when they were first available at a ham fest.  I
used it on my DX-100, after modifying it to work with it.  I used it for
several years and it worked fine and got good reports with a D104
microphone.

I forget the details but of the modification but they weren't extensive to
my way of thinking.  Take a look at BAMA, there's probably a
schematic/manual for download there.
