The 534 is an older tester and doesn't appear to handle compactrons (ie
6jb6).  I have an 800A that will do just about everything.  They can be
had for reasonable money.  At least a lot more reasonable than the 539C,
which is considered to be the best.  The socket compliment really
determines what it will test without additional adapters.  Try to get
one that will handle compactrons and novars which include many of the
later sweep tubes like the 6JB6 (aka Drake finals).

Avoid testers that are missing screws.  It is probably a basket case and
they didn't bother to put the screws back.  Also avoid ones that "My
sister's cousin's brother said it worked" or "Sorry I don't know
anything about it and can't test it".
