[Boatanchors] Fine Magnetic Wire

Greeetings All,
I am trying to repair a Collins Mechanical Filter from an R-390A and I am in 
need of the wire used to wind the transducer coils.
It requires 42 gauge magnetic wire .0025 mil.
Best I can find in 38 gauge which is not fine enough.
Anyone know of a source for this stuff, in reasonably small quantities?
