For some reason I do not fully comprehend, this list does not get
a lot of friendly technical replies. I suspect that some questions
here get answered off-list, which is a shame because in many (most!)
cases I would be curious to know how the problem was resolved.
Now, this isn't always the case. I've read some very interesting
stuff here and learned a lot. I've also offered my ideas/experiences/
knowledge where I can.
There are some more focused technical/user groups out there (many
on qth.net) that do a better job at making the discussions be public
and less "one way shouting". Perhaps just plain "boatanchors", which
covers about a half-century of radios and equipment from the homebrew
to the high-end, is too broad to get this often.
Tim.
