Thanks for that note, and of course there is that other great book about
Marconi "Signor Marconi's Magic Box" by Gavin Weightman

Then there is another book "Wireless: from Marconi's black-box to the
audion" by Sungook Hong.  This is a lot less easy read than the other
one, but fills in a lot of the engineering details.
