[Boatanchors] DX-100 questions

I have the DX-100 all powered up in standby mode, so far so good, I'm using 
page 50 and 51 in the original manual. I'm a little confused on which meter 
scale to use for what. I'm right at the beginning on page 51 where it begins 
with: "If nothing unusal is observed" etc. It says to turn the little red 
knob (driver control) slightly and then peak the tuning control for 5 Ma. 
The way I read it, I use the 0-10 scale here. This is final amp. grid 
current the meter is measuring at this point, correct?
