Hi Roger,

Both the cloth, sort of sticky, cloth based stuff (Friction Tape) and the self
vulcanizing rubber w/o cloth is easily available at Home Depot, Lowes, and hardware
stores in the US usually in the electrical department. Some electricians use the
friction tape to over-wrap Wire Nuts (TM).
