I don't disagree entirely, but the problem with the Internet and search 
engines is that the Internet contains more disinformation than information and 
search engines aren't capable of telling the difference.

As a bad example, do a search for BC-324.  Unless it was recently corrected, 
you will turn up the information on what looks like an official Signal Corps 
site that it is the 12 volt version of the BC-348.  Which actually very 
compactly contains three bits of disinformation, not just one.  :-(
