[Boatanchors] Re The Day Two Meter AM Went Extinct!

Greetings All,

        All I have to say is this fall a few of us here in New Jersey
will be getting back on 2 Meter AM. I have rebuilt a Gonset GC--105 and a
Communicator IV. So one of my coworker's and I can start up a Two Meter
AM Net, Just like the Old Days. I was able to find a National VFO 6-2 to
use with the GC-105, so being Rock Bound is not going to be a problem.
Speaking of AM, did any one( besides Me ) ever get a ARC-4 on the air for
Two Meter work ?. I converted one in my freshman year of High School for
a Electronics / Metal Shop project. I used the CQ conversion Manual plans
and had fun with it when I was first licensed. Anyway just my t Two Watts
Worth.
