First - Items were "snipped" from the original post.
Note - VTVMs were ALSO included.
I am WELL aware of what INDUSTRY uses! I've worked in the installation,
maintenance, and operation of 4.5MW and UP power plants. Started in
1973 during my 'employ' by Uncle Sam
The MOST important question that WE have yet to receive an answer for:
What VOLTAGE is the meter in AND what parameters does the MAIN
transformer have?
I did NOT say use a RECTIFIER. I am promoting a simple shunt for the 5
Amp AC ammeter.
1) I SERIOUSLY doubt that the meter movement has a 5Amp meter coil.
Therefore, it MOST likely already has a shunt.
2) A new shunt to allow it to read 75 IS what I am suggesting.
