Picked up one at a garage sale for monitoring AM signals. I found it was wired for the SB series IF of 3000 kc so needed to remove the extra components to get it down to 455KC IF for an NC-300. Now I need the correct "IF" can in the scope for 455 kc. Heath P/N 40-746 described only as low frequency coil.
Anyone have a one in your junk box or a junker SB-610 chassis? I guess I could always remove the high frequency coil which is there and start taking turns off the winding until I find the sweet spot but that seems like a lot of tedious work when a replacement would be a 5 minute job.
Thanks all
