I may have an extra Syntor-X manual around.  Still
have a large walk-in closet and a couple of other
places full of manuals from over 40 years in the
two-way radio business including consulting.

Motorola used to ship one manual with single mobile
radio purchases and on multiple purchases one manual
for each five mobiles.  Base stations each got a
manual.

Now certain large contracts (i.e. municipal
governments) could specify a certain number of manuals
to be supplied with the units.

two each manuals with each radio. I don't know if
Motorola still has that policy but recently I went
looking for a service manual on the Motorola Syntor X
VHF radio.  These units were from the era of around
1984-1985.  However nothing yet has surfaced locally. 
Any chance someone has an extra?
