My National RCQ, which is one of the NC-100 variants,
was built by National but the RCQ modifications were
made by a company called National Electrical Machine
Shop, Inc.  The CAA nameplate, right on the front of
the receiver, states the original receiver
manufacturer, the company that made the modifications,
the date of the modification, and the contract number
issued by the CAA.
