Larry and All-

I worked for Electronic Parts Company in Albuquerque
for sixteen years. We had two old tube testers in the
store. So I have to agree with you in part. We also
had many Radio-TV repair people and part-timers doing
business with us. Part-timers were those who did not
have a separate repair store and operated out of their
home.

Remember, even years ago when a radio-TV repairman
would do a house call they had a tube caddy or more of
goodies? Many times all they would do is swap tubes to
get the best performance they could. You are keeping
in old traditions.
