One approach I'd take is to see for which stages I could short inputs to
ground, with the idea of finding if the problem originates in any single
vertical amp stage or if the wiggle is still there even with zero input at
the deflection tubes. If its still there with zero input to the deflection
stage, that eliminates all the vert amp string, and may point to problems
in the deflection stage, power supply, or stray magnetic effects.
