[Boatanchors] Re Hallicrafters Coin Token?

Hi All,

During the Sunday March 19th HCI 20 meter Net it was suggested that 
Hallicrafters "may" have produced a coin type of token as a public relations 
give away. The token was slightly smaller in diameter than a fifty cent 
piece, did not have reeded edges and was made of "possibly" Bronze. It was 
produced, if it in fact ever was, around 1948-1952.

have any of you ever seen one or heard of such a token?
