[Boatanchors] Wrinkle finish cleaning and restoration

Waterless hand cleaner should do the trick if the paint is otherwise in good shape.

However, one caution. Last time I went to buy some, there were two kinds -- with and without abrasive (probably pumice). In most cases, you want the original without that -- as in restoring wrinkle finish.

One concern about using waterless hand cleaner on wrinkle paint is that it might leave an oily residue. That could be a problem if it turns out that it needs a light color re-coat if the cleaner doesn't do the trick. Not sure how you can degrease the surface without attacking the paint, if it came to that.

Anyway, read the label before grabbing the Go-Jo and similar products off the shelf. Make sure you get the one without abrasive -- unless, for some reason, that's what you want.
