I have found the Simple Green to be a complete waste of time. All it  
accomplishes is providing a nice odor. I worked on a very grungy Hammarlund a  few 
years ago with the SG. After hours of scrubbung the front panel to remove  nico 
it still looked bad. I was told about the 409/Ammonia mix and gave it a  try. 
I sprayed it on and the brown nico ran down the panel. I was  amazed that 
there was that much still left behind from the SG. Always test an  obscure bit of 
what you want to clean as a precaution and rinse well when you  are done.
