Get your local met office to tell you the maximum wind speed and the 
gustiness - and the probability and strength of hurricanes/tornadoes, 
out to the 50 year level.

You cannot rely on the mast manufacturer's data to stand up in a court 
of law when your mast falls and damages a person or property. The 
way the law of liability is going, if you leave/abandon a mast when you 
sell a property and the mast falls and damages a person or property, 
you, as the original installer, may well be found liable.
