What you say about USPS is very interesting because my experience has
been just the opposite. I have shipped by postal every time since a
bad experience with UPS and I have only had one problem ... which was
caused by my own forgetfullness. I had one final tube in a two meter
transmitter arrive broke because I forgot to put paper inside the rig to
keep the tubes cushioned and in their sockets. Everything I have sent
or received postal has arrived just as it was sent ..... On the other
hand, I've had UPS rigs sent and received that looked like they were
either used to practice field goals or three point baskets from half
court.....
I will not EVER ship UPS unless I have no choice or unless the buyer
insists, in which case they take all the chances and responsiblity for
how it arrives. FedEx has also been good, but I havent sent that much
FedEx.
