I personally use Caig De-Oxit, both the spray can and the pen applicator.
To me, 'typical tuner cleaner' mans Radio shack stuff. The Caig stuff is
widely used and highly recommended by people alot smarter than me. I've used it
successfully for 7 or 8 years. 73, Scott WA9WFA

I have not had this happen but have heard that some switch wafers will swell
when a cleaner is applied. I have the De-Oxit applicator pen and have also
used a toothpick dipped in the De-Oxit for getting to the wipers of the switch.
