[Boatanchors] RS going, going,

[Duane Fischer, W8DBF]

Here is a stretch, but the founder of Hallicrafters, Radio Shack was founded 
by William J. Halligan, Sr. in South Boston, MA in about 1933. However when 
it was purchased by whomever purchased it originally from Bill and his 
partner, they did continue to use the name. Does anyone have any details as 
to who did buy it and when it became part of Tandy?
