I continue to be amazed at the collective knowledge available on this 
reflector and also wanted to send a big thank you to all the members who 
have offered and given me help.
It is almost like having the world's best electronic encyclopedia available 
at my finger tips!
Since retiring 8 years ago and moving to Florida from Colorado, I now spend 
almost every day in the ham shack just piddling around, reading the mail on 
40 and dreaming of the "Old Days". This dreaming has led me to my present 
project: Re-creating my 1953 Novice station.
The only gear I still had was my Globe Chief 90A and a homebrew sidetone 
oscillator.
I recently acquired a HQ-140X (Don't remember what RX I had back then) and a 
SM-90 screen modulator; I did not work AM fone in those days but thought it 
might be fun now to try it.
I hope that this type of "Reflection" is appropriate for this reflector. . .
