Hi Mike,
Many thanks for that info, the job took about 15 mins - easy when you know
how! I'd no inkling that the dial drum came out so easily but once out it's
possible to get to the bulbs with care. I noticed that the old bulbs were
the tubular type, not the round bulb; the round type just wouldn't fit in
the right hand holder, I had to use the tubular type otherwise the envelope
fouled the frame. My Sams says the bulbs should be bayonet, but mine are
MES. I think bayonet might be harder to fit as it would be a struggle to get
that final twist 'n push to lock the bulb in.
Anyway, the 50-T is glowing away as it should and is pulling in the Saturday
AM net on 3615, thanks again!
73,
Roger/G3VKM
